What this is
BCSKidsGuide is a free, community-run guide to the camps, competitions, and enrichment programs that help ambitious kids in Bryan/College Station grow, organized by grade and sorted by deadline.
The problem it solves
The best opportunities for a driven kid — competitive math circles, science bowls, leadership programs — move fast, and their deadlines are scattered across dozens of sites. Families with long-standing local networks hear about them through word of mouth. Families who are just as invested in their kid's development, but don't have that network, find out too late. This site's job is to make that private knowledge public, before the deadline closes — so a parent can open it and, in under sixty seconds, find the program that's right for their child and know what's due soonest.
Three principles
- Accurate beats complete. Thirty correct entries beat two hundred half-wrong ones. A wrong deadline a family relied on is worse than no listing at all.
- Deadlines lead. The homepage isn't an alphabetical list of camps. It's what's closing soonest.
- Nobody pays for placement. No sponsored slots, ever.
Who runs it
BCSKidsGuide is an independent volunteer project. It is not affiliated with Texas A&M University, CSISD, Bryan ISD, or the City of College Station — and it never will imply otherwise.
BCSKidsGuide is free, community-run, and takes no money for placement. We verify what we can, but always confirm details with the program directly before applying.
